Kathleen Watson is currently the Quality Systems Manager and a Reliability Engineer for Intel Corporation's factory in Colorado Springs. Kathleen has previous experience as a Materials Analysis Engineer and a Process Engineer for National Semiconductor and graduate degrees in Physics and Materials Engineering. Kathleen's involvement in hands-on science began as an undergraduate Physics major, volunteering for Discovery Hall in Austin, Texas. Later she worked as the Operations Manager of Discovery Hall, managing the growth of the museum as well as traveling planetarium operations and the entire volunteer force. A lifetime member of Girl Scouts and a long-time officer in the Society of Women Engineers, Kathleen focuses on encouraging people to enjoy and understand science.
