In the July 25, 2005 edition of Fortune Magazine, Geoffry Colvin states: “As other nations multiply their science and engineering graduates—building the foundation for economic progress—ours are declining, in part because these fields are seen as nerdish and simply uncool. And our culture prizes cool.” |

Local Colorado Springs volunteers are answering the call to make science COOL in our schools and beyond! Cool Science has been in operation since September of 2002, and to date, more than 16,500 Colorado Springs young people have experienced the excitement that Cool Science brings to the classroom. Our program is overwhelmingly popular with school administrators, teachers, parents and students. Because we are limited by funding, we can satisfy only a small percent of the demand. If you believe this effort is important, we need your immediate help! There are schools and students that would love to participate in our program. Can you help? please click here!
