Project Lead the Way | This is a program that promotes pre-engineering curriculum for middle and high school students. |
| Gateway to Technology | This is the middle school program for Project Lead the Way - it's VERY cool and hands on. | |
| Pikes Peak Regional Science Fair | Cool! You can do a science experiment AND win a prize. Find out if your school's science fair feeds into the Pikes Peak Regional Science Fair. | |
| Science Bowl | A cool way to compete with your science knowledge for high school students! | |
| Odyssey of the Mind | Another great program - not wholly science based, but creative, quick thinking and combining math and science thinking with other skills is cool too. | |

| Science Olympiad | Wow - this is a GREAT program for high school kids - we at Cool Science were personally involved as children, so we might be biased. | |
| MESA | Math, Engineering, Science Achievement. This is an after school science club for middle schools. | |
| Cool Science Museums and opportunities in Colorado | NSSTI | The National Space Science and Technology Institute has a night viewing program with their observatory at Trailblazer Elementary called "Star Light, Star Bright". |
| Denver Museum of Nature & Science | This museum is somewhat different in style than Cool Science, but they do have lots of neat collections, and they are slowly increasing the "hands-on" factor. | |

| Western Colorado Math & Science Center | This small science center in an old school library is one of the most amazing in Colorado (we at Cool Science think). Check it out if you are ever out in Grand Junction. | |
