Cool Science at UCCS 2009!

 

A FREE fun-filled science carnival for the entire family

Helping Cool Science to run this event is the UCCS Center for Science, Technology, Engineering and Math Education (CSTEME), and the UCCS Student Members of the American Chemical Society (SMACS)

When: Saturday, November 7th, 9 AM to 3 PM

Where: UCCS (1420 Austin Bluffs Parkway), University Center (campus map)

-Parking in all campus lots is free on Saturdays- closest lots are #4 or #3 on campus map

Target Audience: 2nd-8th grade (but fun for all ages)

 

2 Live Demonstration Shows (9 AM and 1:00 PM); Activity Stations open at 10 AM

More than 30 Fun Hands-on Science Activity Stations & Mini-Workshops, including a planetarium and life-sized space shuttle simulator.

No registration necessary- Just come and have fun! Lots of free stuff to take home!

The University Center Food Court will be open for lunch
