​​  ...Cool Science is all about making science cool for kids, just like music, art or sports.  Our volunteers do this by bringing a wide variety of fun and engaging hands-on science activities year-round  to schools, libraries and other public venues throughout eastern Colorado.

Catch Cool Science at Libraries All Summer
We have another busy summer on tap, so lots of opportunities to enjoy Cool Science at libraries and special events around the Pikes Peak Region.  We're also at the Discovery Center one Saturday each month, so be sure to check the calendar for more details .

15th Annual Cool Science Festival Announced
The 2024 Colorado Springs Cool Science Festival will take place Sep. 28 - Oct. 13, with Carnival Day at UCCS on Sat., Sep. 28th (10-4). More info coming soon, meanwhile check out photos from last year.

Cool Science Awarded Battelle and CSU Grants
A $15,000 Battelle grant will provide 15 Days of Science for HSD2 (read more), and a $2,500 Community Focus Fund grant from CS Utilities will provide programs for underserved schools throughout the Pikes Peak Region.
