Bringing Scientific Fun to Colorado's Front Range...
...Cool Science is all about making science cool for kids, just like music, art or sports. Our volunteers do this by bringing a wide variety of fun and engaging hands-on science activities year-round to schools, libraries and other public venues throughout eastern Colorado. What differentiates us from many other groups is that our leaders and key volunteers are actual scientists, engineers, or educators. Cool Science Festival a Huge Success!
The 2024 Colorado Springs Cool Science Festival featured dozens of fun and engaging STEAM events, including the biggest attendance ever (over 8,000) on a beautiful weather day for our Cool Science Carnival Day for kids at UCCS. Check out the photos. 
Bring Cool Science to Your School or Library
Choose from more than a dozen different science demonstration shows, and even more labs, workshops, and other hands-on activities covering a wide variety of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art & Math) topics. 
Cool Science Awarded Battelle and CSU Grants
A $15,000 Battelle grant will provide 15 Days of Science for HSD2 (read more), and a $2,500 Community Focus Fund grant from CS Utilities will provide programs for underserved schools throughout the Pikes Peak Region. |
