FalconSAT - The U.S. Air Force Academy’s Small Satellite Program

Summary: The U.S. Air Force Academy is home to a one-of-a-kind experience that provides cadets with the opportunity to design, build, test, and operate real spacecraft. This presentation will provide the history and current status of the program and opportunities for cadets.
Lt Col Dan Showalter is the Director of the Department of Astronautics Space Systems Research Center and leads the FalconSAT program. He is an Air Force officer with over 20 years of experience in the space domain with assignments ranging from research and development to a combatant command staff.
