Summary: We are excited to have you join us for an engaging and informative session during May Stroke Month! We will share valuable insights into how the brain works, what happens during a stroke, and how to recognize and manage risk factors. We’ll dive into the signs and symptoms of stroke, ensuring you’re equipped with the knowledge to act quickly in an emergency. Participants will also have the chance to complete a stroke risk assessment and learn practical, hands-on techniques to remember critical information when it matters most.
Tiffany has over a decade of experience in the field of stroke care, beginning her career on the stroke acute care unit in 2011, where she developed a passion for caring for stroke patients and supporting life after stroke. In 2016, she transitioned into the role of Stroke Coordinator at a Primary Stroke Center, where she honed her skills in stroke care management. In 2023, Tiffany advanced to her current role as the Stroke Coordinator for the Colorado Southern Region Acute Stroke Ready Hospitals, including Pikes Peak Regional and Grandview Hospitals, where she continues to drive improvements in stroke care across multiple facilities. While not roaming the hospital or diving into a spreadsheet, Tiffany enjoys reading, hiking and archery with her husband and two children.
