Cool Science is all about making science cool for kids...
...just like music, art or sports. Our volunteers do this by bringing a wide variety of fun and engaging hands-on science activities year-round to schools, libraries and other public venues throughout eastern Colorado. One thing that differentiates us from many like-minded groups is most of our volunteers and leaders are actual scientists, engineers, or educators. We also host three big public events each year: the Colorado Springs Cool Science Festival; the Big Cool Science Day at Colorado College; and the Kid's Mini Fruitcake Toss. |
