Bringing Scientific Fun to Colorado's Front Range...
...Cool Science is all about making science cool for kids, just like music, art or sports. Our volunteers do this by bringing a wide variety of fun and engaging hands-on science activities year-round to schools, libraries and other public venues throughout eastern Colorado. What differentiates us from many other groups is that our leaders and key volunteers are actual scientists, engineers, or educators. Cool Science Carnival Day at UCCS
The 2023 edition was our biggest and best yet, with almost 100 science shows, hands-on activities and lab demonstrations enjoyed by more than 7,000 kids and family! Check out our photo gallery. 
2023 Colorado Springs Cool Science Festival
This year's festival featured over 90 special events for kids, families and adults to celebrate STEAM in the Pikes Peak Region, like experiencing race car engineering at the Penrose Heritage Museum. 
Cool Science at the Discovery Center
Now you can find us at least once a month at the Space Foundation Discovery Center, usually on Saturdays, doing something fun. Regular museum admission is required, but all of our activities are included at no extra charge. |
