The 2018 The Colorado Springs Cool Science Festival will run from Saturday, October 13th through Sunday, October 21st and feature dozens of special events designed to educate, entertain and most importantly engage the general public with the wide variety of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math) taking place throughout the Pikes Peak Region.
This is your organization's opportunity to host your own special event that shows off what you do in a fun and engaging way. Events may be open to kids, teens, adults only, families or anyone. You are free to do whatever you want (within reason of course), including determining the date and time, number and ages of the participants, require reservations, and charge a small fee if necessary to offset any unusual expenses* (we strongly encourage you to offer the event for free if possible, or at a very low cost if necessary so that all can participate).
Examples of past events include science trivia or comedy nights, talks, lab and facility tours, computer coding workshops, star gazing nights, guided nature hikes, science of cooking or brewing workshops, science story time for kids, farm tours, gardening classes and much, much more. For more special event ideas check out the Colorado Springs Cool Science Festival Flyers from 2011(1.4 MB PDF) and 2012 (900 KB PDF).
Please complete the form below if you would like to host a special event in this year's festival. If you have any questions before or after submitting the form you may contact us.
