The Colorado Springs Cool Science Festival is all about presenting cool and exciting opportunities for the general public to discover and engage in amazing Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math (STEAM) taking place throughout the Pikes Peak Region. For 2020 most of the festival programming will be virtual due to COVID-19 precautions.
There are several ways that your business, club, school or other organization can join in the CSCSF fun. Since this year's Cool Science Carnival Day at UCCS will be an entirely virtual (online only) event you can present a virtual STEAM demonstration, performance, tour, lab experiment or hands-on activity for kids (K-8th grades) to follow along from home. You can also host your own special event or program anytime during the Festival week, either in-person or virtual. Finally, if you're not quite ready to create something on your own but still want to participate as a group, we can use your member volunteers in one of our Carnival Day festival week virtual programs. To see how this works (in a normal year), check out last year's festival.
Cool Science relies on its passionate and dedicated volunteers to plan, manage and host this extraordinary science festival, so we have lots of volunteer opportunities for individuals leading up to and throughout the festival week. This year we are particularly looking for help with the video production and live webcasting.
To find out more about each of these opportunities and to sign up, just select one of the options below. If you have a question or suggestion you may also contact the festival organizers.
